The Guildwood Senior Choir
The Senior Choir contributes to the "music" in our statement: Worship is - Welcoming, Involving, Musical and Joyful.
The Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church is known for its dedicated Senior Choir, which is comprised of some 26 men and women, singing in four part harmony, and occasionally accented with an exquisite descant.
Guildwood Presbyterian has several accomplished soloists, both vocal and instrumental, who are featured from time to time, in solo, duet, and quartet performances.
Our talented Music Director, Carmen Lappano has a rich and varied background as a musician, playing both the piano and organ, as a tenor soloist, an accompanist, a conductor, and a composer. Our Church benefits greatly from the musical talents of its Choir-Ensemble.
Sunday service involves the congregation joyfully joining in musical worship. Frequently, we have inspired parishioners comment on how their spirits were lifted through the beauty and reverence of the music.
